Mission

The Washington University College Advising Corps works to increase the number of low-income, first-generation college, and underrepresented students who pursue higher education. As part of the Washington University College Advising Corps, seven recent Washington University graduates serve in seven different high schools spanning five school districts to support students and their families throughout the college admissions process.

Washington University CAC advisers work closely with students and their families through the college admissions process by providing one-on-one support, FAFSA assistance, college application assistance, ACT registration assistance, scholarship assistance, college visits, as well as any activity related to the college admissions process. Advisers work within their respective schools alongside students, administrators, and staff to foster a college-going culture and community.
